1985.5 944 Normally Aspirated (NA)
I (Ron) purchased the 944 in 1991 with 55622 miles, after graduating from college.
She has been through alot, running through a few Philly winters.
Now, she is a toy (i.e. summer car), and will be getting all of the attention she deserves.
And she has 117,000 or so miles.
I'd recommend a 944 for anyone who is looking at their first Porsche, and can't afford a 911.
Plus, the car is much more forgiving, with it's almost perfect weight distribution!
Once the new house is built, I plan on tearing her apart (Fall 2004), and getting her back into pristine shape. Currently, she is in need of a new paint job, as the clear coat has started to lift in some areas. Plus, I'd like to get my hands dirty by rebuilding her.
